About the Game…

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Its release took place in 2007, and was available for purchase and download on Windows PC. It was also released on all console platforms, such as Xbox, Wii, and Playstation. This game was the fourth edition to the Call of Duty series, as well as the first edition to the Modern Warfare series. As opposed to previous Call of Duty titles, this game is set during modern times, instead of World War II. The game’s plot takes place during 2011, in which a Russian Ultranationalist movement sparks a civil war. In the midst of this, a radical leader in a unnamed country located in the Middle East had also assassinated its president, thus contributing to more turmoil within the world. The game’s conflicts can viewed from two different perspectives of a British SAS commando, and a US force Reconnaissance Marine. Both individuals are set in different locales, such as the Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and Azerbaijan.
